Brief:

Recreate the book cover for the Pulitzer Prize winning book “To Kill a Mockingbird”

Design:

With this project, I wanted to create something colorful and vibrant, something to temper the somber subject matter and frightful appearance of the bird. Additionally, i wanted to experiment with textured vector artwork.

I decided to have a simple image of a bird perched on a branch in a very precarious position.
